About Me
In 1997, I was newly married, pregnant and living in Miami when I went to my first yoga class. It was a revelation. My husband, Abe, soon began practicing with me. “Yoga gave that to me.” Seven years later, we opened our own studio, determined to introduce yoga to fellow Miamians.
I discovered yoga when my husband and I were traveling to art shows in their sixteen-foot trailer with their five pets. After practicing many styles of yoga, I happened upon Anusara Yoga in 2006 at a workshop by Amy Stence. Struck by the profound precision of yoga principles of alignment, I delved into the method under the guidance of several renowned yoga teachers. Eager to share the joys of this practice with others, I have been been teaching yoga for four years in Virginia Key Beach. I recently deepened my commitment by completing an Anusara Teacher Training.
In my classes, those new to yoga discover that even the most inflexible person can have a joyous experience in their first time on the mat.
